The BitDam advanced learning process creates a whitelist of all legitimate code-level executions of business applications (i.e. MS Office, Acrobat Reader, etc.). Following an initial offline phase analyzing millions of file-scanning, the learning process continues by analyzing new files coming into your organization. This rigorous whitelist update mechanism enables us to immune applications and detect malicious code, regardless of the specific attack technique.
BitDam’s DI gateway component performs a real-time, dynamic, network-level smart fitting process for every file or weblink that is included in an email. Any file or weblink containing a threat does not pass the fitting process, and thus is not permitted to enter the organization. Our technology does not compromise user experience, and is not sensitive to evasive techniques. This highly accurate detection process eases the burden on the organization’s security teams.
